About the Tipton County Republican Party
Mission Statement
The Tipton County Republican philosophy is a true reflection of traditional Tennessee values which will sustain Tennessee into the future and continue to make our State strong, prosperous, and proud.
As the voting majority Party in Tipton County we are the Party of today and the future. We stand along side our Founding Fathers in support of the Constitution. We seek to elect Republicans for the election of local mayors, County-wide offices, County commissioners and school board members.

Strong Families
Families are the building blocks of our society. We support giving our children the hope of a better tomorrow, the promise of a safe and secure today, and an appreciation and respect for yesterday. We support the principle of traditional marriage; one man-one woman.
Limited Government
A government whose policies protect the freedom of opportunity in which each individual’s creative ability can flourish; whose policies are limited to those things which people cannot do at all, or do well for themselves; a government that does not try to solve every problem by simply throwing more money at it.
2nd Amendment
Each citizen has the right to keep and bear arms as stated in our Constitution. No laws should infringe on our ability to protect in self-defense our property and families.
Individual Rights, Opportunity, and Personal Responsibility
Our State’s strength comes from the rights of the individual, to chart one’s own course; start a business; chase a dream; or build a life - regardless of gender, race, or religion. This freedom to choose is God-given, affirmed by our Founding Fathers, articulated in the Declaration of Independence, and protected by the Constitution. With freedom comes the responsibility to be self-supporting, productive citizens, with pride in our independence and actions.
Moral Ethical Government
Public leaders should be of exemplary character and integrity; of strong core values and beliefs; should stand unwavering in the face of criticism, steadfast when confronted with adversity, and should have a clear vision, committed to building a better County and State.
Quality Education
Education is the bedrock of freedom and the gateway to opportunity; the process should prepare children with an in-depth understanding of accurate U.S. history and economics, ready for tomorrow’s workplace.
Strong Defense
Our government is responsible for a strong National defense and only a strong America can remain a free America.
